Section Three:  Chapters Covering Specific Thematic Recommendations  --

Many topics were raised during the 2007 60th DPI/NGO Conference that participants felt should be considered for specific Thematic Chapters in the Report to the Secretary General and the IPCC.  Others were possible as well.   These chapters form the foundation of the Report by providing specific recommendations to civil society from civil society on what needs to be done to adapt to climate change and in the long term, reverse the threat.

Each chapter is developed by a working group and once the report has been given to the Secretary General, the Working Groups will stay on in order to foster continued advocacy for change.  Additional Working Groups may also be formed in that phase of the project.
